Nutrimart Athletes Prepare to Step On Stage (Arnold Festival Sports, 2019)

For their preparation to Arnold Festival Sports, we asked Edna to tell us about her preparation experience to compete in the Strongman Competition and this is what she said:

My strongman training journey is not quite like anything I've ever encountered before. It's been an amazing journey, to say the least. I look at each training day as a step toward the main stage. I can't afford a bad training day, so I've changed my perspective. I strongly believe that a happy athlete is the best version of an athlete. The events have assigned weights that are far from a walk in the park. All I could do was tighten my belt and keep on training.

So, I made sure to go to the gym at least 4-5 days a week to work on technique, conditioning, and execution. I couldn't have made it to the Arnold Stage without the continuous support from Nutrimart, Deadweight, Thainamic Massage, my family, my training partners and my amazing husband who is also my coach. I re-watched "Born-Strong" and I just close my eyes and visualize the roar of the crowd filling the arena. It is such an amazing honor to have been given the opportunity to compete amongst the top athletes from all over the world at the biggest sports festival.
